
Nicole Calabrese is an ambitious 4+1 student at Quinnipiac University, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Advertising and Integrated Communications, complemented by a minor in Media Studies.
Throughout Nicole’s time at Quinnipiac, she consistently earned a position on the Dean’s List while actively participating in Kappa Delta Sorority and Lambda Pi Eta National Communication Honor Society. She was awarded the Advertising and Integrated Communications Leadership Award and Outstanding Achievement in Advertising and Integrated Communications.
Nicole was introduced to the world of communications in high school. During her freshman year, she took a “16 Personalities” test and learned that her personality type would succeed in the advertising and communications industry. This gave Nicole direction in navigating a college major and career choice.
The world of communications excites Nicole, and she wants to be able to leave a lasting impact wherever her career path takes her.
During the summer of 2023, she worked as a Customer Acquisition and Engagement Strategy Intern at Myze where she developed and distributed content through Myze’s social channels and increased their brand visibility and engagement. At this internship, she was able to bring aboard the company’s very first influencer, a major accomplishment.
Throughout the summer of 2024, she worked as a Marketing Intern for House of Funk where she monitored social media channels, created branded graphics, assisted with content production and marketing assets, and provided administrative support to help meet company objectives.
Additionally, Nicole had the privilege to be apart of The Agency at Quinnipiac which an award-winning and student-run interdisciplinary firm that specializes in public relations, graphic design, and marketing. She served as an Account Executive for Athletic Brewing Company and created a social media campaign for them. This opportunity provided her with experience in project management, working with deadlines, and developing strategic plans for a well-established company.
Currently, Nicole is pursuing a master’s degree in Interactive Media and Communications at Quinnipiac University.
She is using the program as a guide to help her explore new areas of creativity and innovation. Her goal is to grow her skills and stay ahead of future industry trends.
